Aesthetic Injector Training

Become a Skilled Cosmetic Injector

Are you ready to embark on a career in the rapidly growing field of cosmetic aesthetics? Modern SLC offers comprehensive injectables training in Salt Lake City, Utah designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to excel as a cosmetic injector.

Key Requirements to Become a Cosmetic Injector

To train and practice as an aesthetic injector in Utah (and most states), you must hold one of the following professional licenses:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) – Must work under the supervision of a licensed medical director (NP, MD, or DO).
  • Physician’s Assistant (PA) – Often requires an MD as a medical director.
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Physician (MD/DO)
  • Dentist (DDS)

Unlike some medical procedures, administering injectables like Botox or dermal fillers does not require a separate certificate or license as long as you are licensed to prescribe or administer medications. However, proper training is critical to ensure patient safety and optimal results.

Why Injectables Are in High Demand

Cosmetic injectables are among the most sought-after treatments in the aesthetic industry, with demand for services like Botox and dermal fillers skyrocketing year after year. Adding injectables training to your resume not only positions you as a valuable asset in the field of aesthetic medicine but also opens doors to a lucrative and rewarding career. Whether you’re looking to enhance your current skill set or branch out into a booming market, becoming a certified injector can significantly boost your professional appeal.

The Importance of Quality Training

While injectables are incredibly popular, administering them requires precision, expertise, and a deep understanding of facial anatomy. Improper training can lead to severe complications for clients, making it critical to choose a program that prioritizes safety and hands-on learning. At Modern SLC, we offer an unparalleled injectables training experience tailored to your needs, ensuring you graduate with the confidence to perform safely and effectively. Avoid “pop-up” courses with limited practical opportunities and invest in a program designed for long-term success.

Why Choose Modern SLC for Your Injectables Training?

When selecting a cosmetic injectables training course, it’s essential to find a program that balances cost, hands-on experience, and high-quality instruction. Led by Dr. Hillary Taggart, our training provides unmatched expertise, practical application, and personalized learning opportunities. Most courses you won’t know who the instructor is and although they may be a good injector, they may not know how to teach in a way that is clear and informative.

Personalized Training for Every Background

Many courses cram students in to maximize profits, leading to decreased hands on experience or lack of quality training. At Modern SLC we only allow 4 students at a time to ensure you get the best training possible. Additionally, Dr. Hillary always tailors each course to the individual student.

If you are a dentist and want to know how to do massetter injections or a nurse practitioner that wants to explore clinic start-up essentials and regulatory guidelines, Dr. Hillary’s 10+ years combination of experience of business growth/management,, injecting and teaching surpasses everyone in the valley.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can enroll in the injectables training course?

Anyone with a valid RN, PA, NP, MD, DO, or DDS license can enroll.

Do I need a separate Botox or dermal filler certification to inject?

No. As long as you hold a qualifying medical license, you can legally administer injectables. Training, however, ensures you have the expertise to perform injections safely and effectively.

Is hands-on training included?

Yes. Our course emphasizes practical application, and students have opportunities to practice on models under supervision.

How does your course compare to others?

While some programs cost well over $5,000 and lack hands-on training, our course offers personalized instruction, hands-on experience, and follow-up shadowing opportunities—all at an affordable price.

What makes Dr. Taggart’s training unique?

With over a decade of clinical and business experience, Dr. Taggart combines practical knowledge with proven strategies for building a successful aesthetic practice. Additionally, she has won best injector numerous times and leads a clinic with over 600+ 5 star google reviews. It is evident that she knows how to provide excellent results with a great experience for clients.

Why a 1 day course instead of a 2 day course?

Historically Dr. Hillary Taggart taught the beginner injector’s course over 2 days. However, it made it very difficult for people to get work off. She realized that by doing smaller class sizes (of 3-4 students) allowed for a higher quality course while minimizing the need for 2 days in order to get through all the models. While the didactic portion is similar to a 2 day course, because the class is smaller in size it is able to be done in 1 day instead of 2.
