ClearLift works by using a Q-switched laser to stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production. Collagen is a protein that gives skin its structure, elasticity, and youthful appearance. As we age, our collagen production slows down, leading to fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tones, and loose skin.
During the ClearLift treatment, the laser penetrates deep into the skin, targeting the underlying layers of tissue without damaging the surface of the skin. The laser energy heats the underlying tissue, stimulating collagen production and remodeling, leading to healthier, lifted, more even-toned skin.
Before the treatment, your provider will clean your skin and provide you with protective eyewear to wear during the procedure. They will then use a handheld device to deliver the laser energy to the treatment area. The laser energy may feel slight pressure and warmth, but most patients find the procedure to be comfortable and painless.
After the procedure, you can immediately resume your normal activities as there is no downtime required. Some patients may experience mild redness or swelling, but this typically resolves within a few hours to a day. Your provider will give you post-treatment instructions and may recommend that you avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen to protect your skin while it heals.
